In 2021 I completed the northern half of my PCT thru-hike. I started at Old Station in Northern California and hiked to Canada. When I returned to California, I was not able to continue because the fires had closed the National Forests and the PCT. I tried waiting it out on the Colorado Trail, but I eventually went home to Florida, hoping to return to finish the hike in the 2022. That adventure is yet to be.
