Some of you have said you would like to send me stuff on the trail. Examples are: snacks or dehydrated real food). There is a way to send it, but first let me make a few points:
- I am pretty self-sufficient out here. My needs are also pretty focused, so please message me before you send something to see if I actually need/want it
- Picking up stuff requires planning and time. Remote post offices are sometimes only open on weekdays for a few hours. Businesses sometimes charge a fee for holding stuff. Check with the destination about rules and check with me too so I know when something has been sent and where it will go.
- Your prayers and comments are as valuable as any gift. They lift my spirits. And they weigh zero ounces. But lightweight, tasty homemade snacks are certainly very nice too.
To send stuff to a post office:

Please coordinate with me by text so I know what is coming and where it will be. Also make sure I intend to stop there, so it is not out of my way.
Where there is no post office by the trail, some businesses will accept hiker packages, often for a fee. Call them to make sure they do.
